Bluegrass band to participate in Concert on the Riverwalk series
"With roots in the Northwoods, this high-energy group has played all over Wisconsin and Minnesota," concert organizers said in a press release. "Band members include Joe and Sue Cronick of Tomahawk and Brian Cate, all playing various stringed instruments and singing in harmony."
This performance is co-sponsored by Diel Insurance and the Apothecary Pharmacy of Rhinelander. Free-will offerings will be collected, and listeners are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray. Free popcorn will be served.
In case of rain, the performance will be held at the senior center (Department on Aging) across the parking lot from Trig's mall. The community band concert, which was moved to the facility for the June 24 performance, was a big success, and the audience said it sounded great, organizers said.
