Don used a sand wedge on the 99-yard par-3 third hole. He was playing with Bob Loether, Perry Schuette and Roger Smith. He used a Top Flite golf ball with the Wisconsin Badger logo on it.
Unfortunately, Don scored his ace on the night of men's league at Pinewood. He said it was worth the bar bill.
