Five individuals have been arrested on meth-related charges after authorities executed a search warrant at 718 Margaret Street in Rhinelander Wednesday, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

According to the release, the sheriff's office, along with members of the Rhinelander Police Department, the Vilas County Sheriff's Office, the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group (NORDEG) and the Wisconsin Department of Justice executed the search warrant as part of a continuing investigation into the use, manufacture and delivery of controlled substances, specifically methamphetamine. Later the same day, a second state search warrant was executed at a storage building in the town of Minocqua.

"Events surrounding this investigation led to the execution of a state search warrant in Rhinelander and the arrest of five individuals," the release states.

The five individuals have been identified as Andrea Healy, 47, of Rhinelander; Jute Handrick, 24, of Woodruff; Andi Hansen, 26, of Lac du Flambeau; Ronald Ross, Jr., 28, of Woodruff; and Richard Nitschke, 48, of Rhinelander. All five were set to appear in Oneida County Circuit Court at 1:15 p.m. Friday in front of Judge Michael Bloom.

These arrests are part of an ongoing controlled substance investigation by the NORDEG Task Force, the release states. The Rhinelander Fire Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
