Marshfield Clinic contributes to Northwoods United Way
"Even in tough economic times, our Clinic staff contribute to programs and causes that touch our hearts," said Carrie Miller, Marshfield Clinic Primary Care assistant manager and United Way campaign coordinator. "By joining United Way's mission of improving lives, Clinic staff knows they're helping create lasting changes that ripple through the community. Everyone has a role in advancing common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. Our support taps into our communities' passions and strengths, creating an environment where people come together every day to make our region a better place for all of us to live."
United Way helps fund many agencies and programs that are vital to the health and well-being of people in northern Wisconsin.
"United Way believes investing in our community is an important responsibility," said Nancy Sattler, executive director, Northwoods United Way. "When you give to United Way your return on investment means more children receiving a quality education, more families with enough income to remain independent and more seniors with the supports they need for healthy aging. "We are very grateful for organizations like the Marshfield Clinic that support the United Way year after year. Without the generous assistance from everyone in our communities, many programs and services supported by United Way would simply not be available to help our neighbors in their times of greatest need."
