At the Auburndale tournament the Hodags took second place, defeating Stevens Point, Auburndale, and Eau Claire. The team finished with a 10-2 record in regular season tournament play.
Last weekend, the Hodags were invited, as one of the top 32 teams in the Great Northwest League, to play in the League Championship Tournament (LCT) in the Eau Claire area. The girls competed successfully in their pool and bracket play, finishing 12th out of the 32 teams.
In tournaments and LCT play, the Hodags played quality competition and earned victories over six teams ranked in the top 20 in the league.
Seventh graders win Antigo tournament
The RBA's seventh-grade girls' traveling team went 4-0 and won a tournament in Antigo last weekend.
The Hodags went undefeated in pool play, with wins over Wausau West (34-19), Antigo (35-22) and Marathon (49-15). Rhinelander then defeated Mosinee Purple (35-9) in a crossover game for first place.
