Minocqua Winter Farmers Market ready for holiday shoppers
Eight to 12 vendors regularly sell their goods every Friday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. inside the heated building on the premises. The local farmers and producers are very pleased that the community has been so supportive with well over 100 regular customers attending the market each week, market organizers said in a press release.
This producers-only farmers market features produce and agricultural products from the surrounding area. All items are homegrown, handmade, and/or vendor-created from locally owned operations within the region. Customers can expect to see pork, eggs, lettuce, cheese, grass-fed beef, homegrown chickens, handmade soaps, bakery, honey, maple syrup, specialty greens, dog treats, handmade ornaments, hand-cranked socks and more. Updates are posted each week on the Minocqua Winter Farmers Market Facebook page. The market will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
