Minocqua Dance to present 'The Nutcracker Twist' Dec. 12
The performance is based on the traditional story of Clara, with a few twists, the dance company said in a press release. "Clara is taken on a magical wintery adventure where she meets soldiers, snowflakes, Hip Hoppin' Gingerbreads, peppermint candy, flowers, and a Sugar Plum Fairy!" the release states.
"The Nutcracker Twist" will be performed at the Lakeland Union High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door. Ticket price for children under 12 years old is $7; adult tickets are $9. There will be a bake sale to benefit the Lakeland Pantry.
