Fox to discuss Mississippi bicycle adventure at Rhinelander District Library
Fox pedaled a bicycle along the entire length of the Mississippi on a hand-me-down bike with a guitar on the handlebar, $120 in his wallet, and limited gear, library said in a press release. The audience will be taken on Fox's journey, accompanied by his stories, photos and guitar music.
Fox is an author, journalist, and an explorer who loves nature, travel, and outdoor adventure. His book, "The Fox trails - A Bicycle Adventure Along the Mississippi River," describes "...this life or death journey of personal discovery. Come along for the ride as he pursues his dreams in writing and pedals into the unknown on a month-long cross-country bicycle adventure down the backbone of America in search of a new way of living."
Fox has had a wide array of experiences as a writer, personal fitness trainer, public speaker, amateur musician and stand-up comic, wilderness guide, and editor. He a lifelong student, as his writing and travels continue to expand his knowledge and understanding of the world around him, the release states.
