Built in 1886 on South Brown Street, the Hilber House was one of Rhinelander's early hotels. In 1905, the establishment was purchased by Michael Bronk who had previously been an employee there. After Bronk died, ownership was transferred to his wife who renamed it the Bronx Hotel. The site has been most recently occupied by Jewell Travel, Farmer's Insurance and the Knight Gallery.
