With the school year right around the corner, the familiar yellow buses will soon become a familiar sight on roadways.
Kim Weyres said the open house will touch on the topics of bus safety, expectations for children regarding safety on the bus and what to expect in the event of an emergency.
"Along with that, there will be games for the kids, and drawings and prizes," Weyres said.
Route information will be available as well. Parents will receive information about their child's bus beforehand, Weyres said. The open house is the perfect time for parents and children to ask questions about their route.
