Situated along what is now County Highway W, Lake Creek Tourist Camp was in use until around 1940, after which time some of the cabins were used as rental cottages.

County W was once part of Wisconsin Highway 17 and thus a major road heading north out of Rhinelander. The cabin used in 1934 by the sender of this postcard is marked by an arrow.
