Lakeland Performing Arts presents The StepCrew May 15
The StepCrew is the new dance production featuring the world's top talents in Irish Step Dancing, Ottawa Valley Step Dancing, and Modern Tap. According to a press release from the organization, these six dynamic performers excel both in the
respective traditional forms of dance and create brand new, modern fusion of all three styles.
"With virtuosic dancers and musicians from the likes of The Chieftains, Cherish The Ladies and Bowfire, this cast of outstanding talent takes you on a dance journey to show audiences the amazing similarities and differences among these three captivating dance styles," the release states. "As if dancing weren't enough, The StepCrew boasts three world-class fiddlers backed by an amazing five-piece ensemble comprised of some of the most talented and respected musicians in the Celtic music scene today."
