The teen suspect charged in connection with last month's double homicide in Oneida County was scheduled to undergo an evaluation this week.

Ashlee Martinson, 17, is accused of killing her mother and stepfather at their town of Piehl home on March 7. She was captured the following day in Boone County, Indiana - near Indianapolis - with her boyfriend, Ryan Sisco, who is not a suspect.

A hearing had been set for Wednesday about extraditing Martinson back to Wisconsin because she has not waived extradition, but that hearing was postponed until April 16 so Martinson could be evaluated.

According to court records, a professional traveled from Milwaukee to conduct the evaluation on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Boone County Jail.

In a court filing, Martinson's lawyer in Indiana wrote that the evaluation "needs to be done quickly" and should occur while she remains in jail in there.

A separate defense lawyer for Martinson, based in Wisconsin, scheduled the professional evaluation.

No further details about the evaluation have been made public.

The prosecuting attorney in Boone County did not object to changing the date of the hearing.
