Physician's assistant joins Ministry Medical Group
A physician assistant, Muench works in surgery. She assists physicians with the management of patients before, during, and after the procedure to ensure continuity of care. Muench can help evaluate medical conditions in both pre-operative and post-operative patients, assist during surgery, interpret laboratory results, formulate treatment plans and perform wound care.
Muench received her Master's degree in physician assistant studies from Carroll University in Waukesha. Her undergraduate degree is from UW-Stevens Point. She is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support.
"When I take care of patients, I look at the big picture," said Muench. "People are more than a collection of symptoms. I believe in treating the whole person."
In her spare time, Muench enjoys running, fishing and skiing.
