Middle school harriers compete in home invitational
The Hodags placed a close second out of five teams in the boys' race, only three points behind D.C. Everest. Eighth-grader Bridger Flory won the individual race for the Hodags, completing the 3-kilometer course in 11 minutes, 39 seconds. Jacob Weddle (6th, 13:07), Skylar Mahner (15th, 13:40), Alex Kubeny (17th, 14:00), and Konner Kennedy (20th, 14:02) rounded out the Hodags' top five.
The Hodag girls' finished fourth overall, led by eighth-grader Claire Bowman (10th, 14:44). The rest of the team's top five finishers were Katelyn Flannery (17th, 15:11), Mattia Beske (22nd, 15:28), Emilee Pontell (25th, 16:01) and Ellery Werner (30th, 16:29).
