Mr. Lecce-Chong is currently an associate conductor of the MSO and has worked with orchestras around the world, including the Atlanta, Indianapolis and St. Louis symphony orchestras, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Hong Kong, Pitesti (Romania) and Ruse (Bulgaria) philharmonics. As a trained pianist and composer, Mr. Lecce-Chong began conducting at the age of 16. A native of Boulder, Colo., he embraces innovative programming, supports art education and champions the work of new composers, according to a press release annoncing the performance. Mr. Lecce-Chong also provides artistic leadership for the MSO's nationally lauded Arts in the Community Education (ACE) program - one of the largest arts integration programs in the country,
The Northwoods Concert Association has announced that tickets for adults will be $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Student tickets (K - 12) will be $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Advance tickets sales can be purchased at Lattitudes Clothing & Gifts, Northern Coffee Haus or Stoxen's Pharmacy.
