What makes Rhinelander special?
Rhinelander is a great place to raise a family that offers almost everything a family could ask for. And if it isn't offered in the area, you can just drive a couple of hours to get it.
What types of products or services do you offer?
Financial Services focusing on financial planning, investing, and insurances such as health, life, disability, long term care. We also work with many local employers to offer attractive employee benefits and cost effective prices.
What are some of the challenges your business faces?
Educating perspective new customers on how we actually care about them on a personal level, not just as another number, and this is the advantage of working with someone local.
What aspect of your business makes you most proud?
I am really proud of the fact that everyone in our office makes sure to put the client first. We go to great lengths to make sure that we are always doing the best we can for our customers.
What benefits can your business offer for consumers who buy local?
When someone buys local from us they get the advantage of having a local person to represent their interests to a large company. We know the ins and outs of our industry and are always happy to help our clients out with getting the services they need. We frequently help take the frustration out of dealing with large corporations.
What is your business relationship with the community?
We pride ourselves on being part of the community. We live here, our kids go to school here and we support many local organizations both financially and with volunteering.
What makes your business stand out?
We go above and beyond the usual customer service standards to help our clients.
What products or services do you offer that are unique?
For individuals we offer a Certified Financial Planner on staff and for employers and their employees we offer one-on-one service from a local office.
Why do you think it is important to buy local?
When a person buys local, they are helping to support the local economy and jobs in the area. Every local purchase made helps employers to keep and create new jobs in the area. This will also give future businesses the incentive to open in our town.
Do you have any special events planned in the near future?
We just went independent with our securities business. Starting this month we are using Cambridge Investment Research Advisors Inc to clear our securities business. For the last eight years we have been an office of MetLife but in the last couple of years we noticed that we had outgrown our relationship with MetLife and needed to make a change.
We also will be having workshops this fall to help people with their health insurance decisions for Medicare and Exchange coverages.
