African Wildlife Presentation
World traveler Ann Eshelman will return to the Nicolet College Theatre stage to present Lending a Hand to Africa's Wildlife at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Energized by her global volunteer work last year tending to Cambodian elephants, Eshelman most recently traveled to Africa to continue working with wildlife. During her visit to Limpopo Province, South Africa, and then to the Central Kalahari Game Preserve, Botswana, Eshelman met people from all over the world committed to the well-being and perpetuation of Africa's wildlife. Share Eshelman's deep appreciation of Africa, the people, and the animals as she describes her adventures including a wildebeest hunt (and the subsequent meal), gathering edible wild vegetation with Bushmen, and out-maneuvering a baby rhino.
