Habitat for Humanity Northwoods Executive Director Bob Davis and treasurer Pamela Carroll also attended to update attendees on the progress of Habitat's two current home builds in Hazelhurst and Rhinelander. The evening concluded with a 50/50 fundraiser drawing to which NWAR added a corporate donation for a total gift of $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity from local REALTORS. "Both NWAR and Habitat work hard to promote home ownership in the Northwoods, so it is a natural fit for our organization to support Habitat through both donations and volunteerism," Werner stated.
Habitat for Humanity Northwoods and NWAR are friendly neighbors too, as both are headquartered in Woodruff at the recently-remodeled Leadership Academy building on Oak Street. NWAR is comprised of over 340 REALTORS and Affiliates serving buyers and sellers in Vilas, Oneida, Price, Forest, Iron and parts of surrounding counties.
