The American flag is flying from the AT&T tower in downtown Rhinelander once again. City officials and workers from SRU Telecom raised the flag Friday afternoon. The plan is to keep the flag flying through Veterans Day. It will then be taken down for the winter. At bottom: Rhinelander Mayor Dick Johns watches as the flag is raised. Johns has been working with AT&T for several months on a way to ensure the flag can fly freely without getting tangled or torn.
