It is not a requirement to come in costume but those who do will receive five free raffle tickets for the auction, which will start at 8 p.m.
Guests can munch on heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by the Rhinelander Cafe & Pub, play games such as Skeletons in Your Closet, listen to music, dance or participate in raffles.
One of the items to be raffled was donated by the Green Bay Packers. There will also be jewelry from Wickersham Jewelry.
Tickets are available at Trig's and the Rhinelander Cafe & Pub for $15 apiece.
The artists who designed this year's crop of Hodag statues, and the businesses who sponsor them, will be recognized during the event. Eight mini Hodags and one large Hodag will be auctioned off.
"The mini Hodags are half the size of the originals making them the perfect fit for inside as well as out," said Maggie Steffen, executive director of DRI. "This size also allows them to be more affordable, so if you've ever wanted a Hodag of your own now is your chance."
The Hodags have been on display in the downtown area all summer.
