Country Rock rebel Jared Blake to perform at Bucketheads
An original member of Team Blake, Jared Blake quickly won the enthusiasm of audiences with his country-grunge style and R&B flair. Following in his mentor Blake Shelton's footsteps, Blake released his debut EP "Til Morning Light" on Sept. 30, in conjunction with Shelton's "Bringing Back the Sunshine" album release.
His "Stomp" single is currently featured on Sirius XM's Country station "The Highway" and charted at #5 on MPE downloads behind only Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley, Jake Owen and Montgomery Gentry.
Paying homage to his home state and history, Blake's "Stomp" music video, which was released on Oct. 13, features scenes shot in Mountain Home, Ark. at Royal 66, that give a vintage throwback to the 1920s prohibition era before leading into the wild vibrancy of Las Vegas' neon lights with scenes shot during two of Blake's performances at the Red Rock Casino Resort.
In support of National Substance Abuse Awareness Month (October) and his recent sponsorship with the addiction referral service Live to be Sober, Blake is also making several appearances this month performing for rehabilitation centers and sharing his story with local schools to bring anti-drug/alcohol awareness to students.
