A hospitalist, Menet specializes in caring for people while they are inpatients at the hospital. Menet will manage a full spectrum of serious illnesses and specialize in coordinating care around the clock. He will provide treatment and care of patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and obesity. He is interested in providing patients with palliative care - the relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness. He also has a special interest in helping patients with mental health issues.
Menet received a master's degree in nursing science and a bachelor's degree in nursing from UW-Oshkosh. He also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and zoology from UW-Madison. He is certified in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Menet has completed the trauma nursing core course.
"I enjoy working with my patients to help them set, and achieve, their own healthcare goals," said Menet. "I will be working to empower patients with acute, chronic, or mental health conditions to improve their quality of life. With every patient I see, there is an opportunity to build relationships that will result in positive outcomes."
In his spare time, Menet enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is an outdoor enthusiast who likes bicycling, mountain biking, cross country skiing, running, swimming, triathlons, hiking, camping, backpacking, and paddling.
