Two holiday concerts coming to Nicolet College Dec. 4, 14
Kicking off the season will be the Home and Heart of the Holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. Singer Laurie Craig and her accompanist invite everyone to gather for an evening of yuletide cheer that will include a litany of popular favorites and seasonal classics.
"We picked the songs that brought back our fondest memories of the holidays when we were growing up," Craig said. "We wanted songs that were warm and welcoming as well as those that are meaningful to the season."
Violin and guitar accompanists along with other special guests will join the two for selections designed to fill the theatre with holiday cheer.

The ever-popular Community Holiday Concert will follow later in the month as five local musical groups perform starting at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9. Admission is free.
The Nicolet Male Chorus, Nicolet Choraliers, Hymns and Hyrs, the Learning in Retirement Chorus, and the Lakeland Barbershop Chorus will all perform during this afternoon concert featuring holiday and seasonal songs. Donations of non-perishable food items and money will be accepted at the door.
