Buckley competes in Senior PGA PNC
Buckley, the club professional at Northwood Golf Course in Rhinelander, missed the 36-hole cut with a two-day total of 154 strokes. He was inside the cutline Thursday, tied for 41st following a 1-under par 71 on the PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course, but struggled Friday, shooting an 11-over 83 on the Ryder Course to miss the cut by 10 strokes.
Frank Espositio of Florham Park, N.J. won the tournament Sunday, shooting 16-under for the 72-hole event. The top 35 and ties qualify for next year's Senior PGA Championship, which will be held in May at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind.
