Polish Square Fun Run supports Let's Go Fishing
This fundraiser was initiated by dedicated town residents who wanted to financially help various local non-profit agencies. The chosen agency for this year's walk was Wisconsin's only "Let's Go Fishing-Northwoods Chapter" of Rhinelander; the 31st chapter of "Let's Go Fishing" (LGF) whose home office is in Minnesota.
This organization provides free boating and fishing excursions for various senior citizen groups, disabled people, veterans and others on a 33' pontoon boat on Northwoods area lakes. On Sunday, at the Moondance Bar & Grill in Sugar Camp, the Fun Run representatives presented the local LGF volunteers with a generous check to help pay for the boat, fuel for excursions and boating/fishing supplies.
