After nearly six years, Rhinelander District Library Director Ed Hughes' final day on the job was Friday. An open house with refreshments was held in the afternoon for people to stop by the library and wish Hughes (left) farewell as he prepares for his new position at a regional library system in Mississippi. The library board will soon be forming a committee to start the search for a new director.
