The Oneida County Humane Society is having a Furball Saturday, May 3, at Reuland's Conference Center in Minocqua. All proceeds will directly benefit the adoption center. Each $50 ticket includes dinner, music, and a chance at one of two $100 cash prizes, as well as an opportunity to win raffles and auction items. According to a press release announcing the event, OCHS needs the public's support in making this event a success to continue helping homeless animals in this area. Tickets are limited, and are sold in advance at the adoption center in Rhinelander and at the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce.
