When business opened: It Works! has been in business for 20 years. I've been doing this for three years.
What makes Rhinelander special? Rhinelander is special in so many ways. It is a beautiful small town with plenty of things to see and do and the people are community-based.
What types of products or services do you offer? We have health and beauty products. Our products are all natural with supplements, skin care and an exclusive body wrap that helps you tighten and tone and you can see amazing results in as little as 45 minutes.
What are some of the challenges your business faces? Challenges for this business are getting the word and the product out, to get people to try something new and to believe in MLM [multi-level marketing] businesses.
What aspect of your business makes you most proud? This type of business can help people with health and financial success right here in our community. Because it is a home-based business and we are multi-level marketing, we work to find other people that want to join in the business and build a business of their own. A business like this can help other people gain financial independence or earn extra money, plus it is health products so to me I always say we're like health and wealth, we can actually help you create income and yet we can help you get healthy.
What benefits can your business offer for consumers who buy local? The benefits we offer are all-natural products for a healthier you with a financial opportunity for a home-based business right here in our community.
What is your business' relationship with the community? We have a home-based business, so I am continuously trying to let the community know what we have to offer.
What makes your business stand out? Anyone can do this business. Multi-level marketing is home-based with great opportunity for financial freedom.
What products or services do you offer that are unique? We have an exclusive all-natural, first-to-market product - the Ultimate Body Application that helps people tighten and tone and get results.
What are your favorite restaurants, shops or attractions in Rhinelander? I enjoy all of our restaurants and shopping. I am looking forward to trying the newest places.
What is your personal relationship and involvement with the community? I am trying to give more of my time to the functions and events that are happening. I want to be more involved in all aspects. A lot of events depends on volunteers and community help.
Why do you think it's important to buy local? It is important to buy local to help our community as a whole. We all should help each other because we need each other to be a successful and happy community.
Do you have any special events planned in the near future? I try to do as many vendor shows as I can and I would love to spend time with anyone to share this exciting opportunity and the great products that we have.
Any other related comments: People should look into MLM opportunities, for home-based businesses because of the tough economy. It is a way to make money with not a lot of cost. There are good ones out there.
