"I enjoy baking bread because it takes time and patience, and you need to know when to modify the ingredients to get the best result," said Dr. Abadeer. "The same is true in surgery - each patient has their own unique situation and story that they bring to the table. My goal is to take the time to listen carefully to each patient's needs and adjust our plan to achieve their best possible outcome. I have found the proven recipe for success is when a surgeon, his patient, and their family members are working together as a team."
In his spare time, Dr. Abadeer enjoys making the most of the Northwoods of his home state. His interests include photography, waterskiing, alpine skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, golf, and tennis. He also volunteers his time with medical missions.
