This year's rib fest will be held Thursday, July 31, through Saturday, Aug. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. each day, rain or shine. It will once again take place at the St. Germain Community Park.
Admission is free from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., after 1:30 p.m. there is a $5 entrance fee. Children 10 and under are admitted free all day when accompanied by a parent/guardian. Free parking is available.
Rib and other food and drink vendors will available throughout the event. In addition, live music will take place throughout the weekend.
Afternoon entertainment will be from Mark Wayne on Thursday afternoon, with Mama's Little Hippies playing both Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Thursday evening will feature Tony Rocker, with Chasin' Mason on stage Friday night and 76 Juliet performing Saturday evening.
Additionally, Glen Gerard - magician, comedian and entertainer - will perform each afternoon of the event, and free kid's rides are available all day.
Dogs are welcome, however they must be on short leash. No dogs will be allowed in the food tent. Organizers ask pet owners to clean up after their dogs. Disruptive dogs and owners will be asked to leave.
