What makes Rhinelander special?
It's the style and flavor of Rhinelander that makes it such a special place. The history of the town, as well as the Hodag, make it totally unique to the world. The people are so great and I love checking out a Hodag basketball game or enjoying the outdoors. There's nowhere else I'd rather call home.
What types of products or services do you offer?
We offer a large variety and selection of carpeting, tile, hardwood flooring, laminate, sheet vinyl and luxury vinyl tile flooring. We also have excellent window treatments and an in-house interior decorator who does a wonderful job.
What are some of the challenges your business faces?
As a small business, we have to keep up on the government regulations, but that's not unique to us.
What aspect of your business makes you most proud?
We've had six decades of hard work and satisfied customers. We've been able to serve Rhinelander and the Northwoods as a whole for that long. I'm incredibly proud of that.
What benefits can your business offer for consumers who buy local?
We offer competitive prices, superior certified installation and 60 years of customized, personal attention. We're knowledgeable and we care about the community. We'll treat you right.
What is your business relationship with the community?
We're happy to be associated with Downtown Rhinelander Inc. and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce. We consistently donate to a number of local causes and events.
What makes your business stand out?
We have 60 years of product knowledge. When you couple that with the worldwide buying power that comes with Carpet One, that's a considerable advantage for our customers. We go the extra mile with our customer service to guarantee satisfaction. We believe that's why our customers keep coming back.
What products or services do you offer that are unique?
We can offer the latest quality product lines, offered at affordable prices. Sixty years of flooring experience means we can help our customers identify the perfect flooring for them, well within their price range.
What are your favorite restaurants, shops or attractions in Rhinelander?
I love playing golf around the Northwoods. I'm a long time member at the Rhinelander Country Club. I also love going to one of the area's many great restaurants with my family for a Friday night fish fry.
What is your personal relationship and involvement with the community?
Our entire sales staff was born and raised in Rhinelander. This is our home. I value my relationship with the Hodag Sports Club, the Rhinelander Country Club and a number of other local organizations. We're always out and about in Rhinelander interacting with this town's incredible people.
Why do you think it is important to buy local?
Buying local strengthens our local economy and can lead to better employment opportunities in the future. Buying local is the most important contribution we can make to building a stronger and more vibrant Rhinelander for future generations of Hodags.
Do you have any special events planned in the near future?
We're currently enjoying our 60th anniversary and are planning a customer appreciation party to celebrate. We're even offering 60 percent off on select products which is incredible savings for our customers. Our Spillabration Savings event is also right around the corner and we're already excited for the annual Redikulus Dae.
