RHS grad Kyle Comer gets opportunity with Northwoods League team
Comer was added to the roster prior to the Border Cats' 7-4 home loss to Alexandria Saturday. His first game action came Sunday when he started at third base in Thunder Bay's 13-11 victory over Alexandria. Comer was 1-for-5 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.
The Northwoods League is an independent wood-bat league with 18 teams across the Upper Midwest and Canada, including the Wisconsin Woodchucks and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
