What makes Rhinelander special?
There's a lot of attractions when it comes to fishing, camping, boating and water skiing. Rhinelander is friendly, it's easy to get to know people and it's a great place to network.
What types of products or services do you offer?
We offer new and pre-owned vehicles, oil changes and maintenance or repairs on all makes and models, parts and accessories for all makes and models, full details or wash vacuum and cleaning of windows and much more.
What are some of the challenges your business faces?
One of the challenges we've been facing is the increase in vehicle sales that leads to more trade-ins and being able to get them through the shop and cleaned to show the next customer for resale. It's a good problem to have.
What aspect of your business makes you most proud?
Customer retention and satisfaction.
What benefits can your business offer for consumers who buy local?
Everyone who walks through the door is greeted with a smile. We provide a warm and friendly shopping environment to be able to service them for a lifetime.
What is your business relationship with the community?
We do multiple donations throughout the year, for example, Headwaters golf outing, PotatoFest, RIA hockey, Boy Scouts, Little League, Athletic Booster Club outing and gladly doing more.
What makes your business stand out?
Fun, friendly, and lots of great services to offer. At Rhinelander Honda we strive hard to communicate on process that helps our customers. For example, when a customer says they're looking for service our staff will walk them to the department and also make sure someone's there to assist them versus just pointing to the direction they should head in. We also offer our customers free loaners so they can shop or cruise around town at their own convenience. We have a great oil change value with a car wash on all makes and models. Rhinelander Honda is a CARFAX Advantage Dealer, which means there's a car fax for all pre-owned vehicles.
What products or services do you offer that are unique?
We offer free loaners, iPads in the customer lounge, a fruit bowl with snacks, and value pricing on vehicles makes it an easy shopping experience.
What are your favorite restaurants, shops or attractions in Rhinelander?
Attractions I enjoy in Rhinelander are golfing and fishing. I've enjoyed all the restaurants I've been to so far. I like the hometown feel with the Friday night fish fry.
What is your personal relationship and involvement with the community?
I'm a member with the Rhinelander Chamber. I also support and attended many local fundraising events.
Why do you think it is important to buy local?
It's gratifying knowing you've worked hard to build the relationship to earn the business locally, which in return keeps the money in the community. That makes it a win-win.
Do you have any special events planned in the near future?
We are happily sponsoring the upcoming events: PotatoFest, the Oneida County Fair and the Headwaters golf outing.
