JWMS grapplers win Wausau West tournament
Four Hodags took first place in their brackets at the meet - Scott Fox, Colton Krueger, Kenny Baumgardner and Rubin Guzik.
The team added runner up finishes by Richie Whitford, Dante Steinmetz, Tyler Olson, Jacob DeMeyer, Alec Kurtz, Zach Olds, Robert Kintop and Kevin Albrant. Jerry DuBois finished third in his division.
Other wrestlers not placing in the top three include: Kyle Kuester (2-3), Walker Hartman (3-2), Robert Towne (1-4), Nate Wolf (1-4), Alex Monk (1-4), Dante Suhm (2-3) and Chase Redmond (1-4).
The JWMS wrestlers followed up that performance in Three Lakes Tuesday night, going 45-26 overall with 25 pins. Hodags going undefeated Tuesday were Olson, Baumgardner, Steinmetz, Whitford, Hartman, DeMeyer, Krueger, Nate Wolf, Josh Randolph and Eric Grulke.
