Rhinelander Green takes seventh at GNBL Championships
Rhinelander went 1-2 in pool play, opening with a 31-25 loss against Amherst. The Hodags rebounded with a 57-39 win over River Falls Blue before losing to Bangor 47-29.
The Hodags' record in pool play was good enough to qualify for the championship bracket, where they started with a Round of 16 win over Chippewa Falls 65-42. Rhinelander lost to Onalaska 49-27 in the quarterfinals and to Eau Claire Eagles 38-35 in the consolation semifinals. The Hodags finished the tournament with a 44-30 victory over Altoona.
