RBA traveling teams compete in tournaments
The Rhinelander Basketball Association's fifth-grade traveling team won an eight-team tournament Saturday, Jan. 4 in Antigo. The tournament included teams from Stevens Point, D.C. Everest and Wausau East. The young Hodags went 4-0 and defeated Marshfield 42-33 in the championship game. For the season the team is 7-1, averaging 42 points per game while allowing only 20 points per game.
RBA seventh graders conclude season
The Rhinelander Basketball Association seventh-grade girls' basketball traveling team finished fourth, with two wins and two losses, in its last tournament of the season at Wausau West in December.
