Youth Roundup: JWMS powerlifters compete in Phillips
Three Hodags placed first in the competition, which tested athletes' strength in the squat, bench press and dead lift. Tyler Olson won the 114-pound weight class with a total score of 515 pounds. Robert Kintop took first in the 123-pound class (560) and Colton Krueger won the 181-pound class (740).
Rueben Guzik (114-class, 470-score) and Zach Olds (165, 595) recorded runner-up finishes.
Alex Monk (114, 425), Scott Fox (132, 630) and Carter Charbarneau (165, 590) each finished third.
