Burmaster named finalist for president position at Edgewood College
Nicolet College president and two others are being considered for the job
Edgewood College officials made the announcement this week about who they are considering to be current president Dan Carey's successor when he retires at the end of August. Carey announced his intention to retire last fall.
Joining Burmaster as finalists for the position are Scott Flanagan, executive vice president at Edgewood College, and Robert Pastoor, vice president for student life at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
According to a press release from Edgewood College, each finalist will visit the campus in the next few weeks. A portion of each candidate's visit will include a campus presentation streamed live on the college's website.
Burmaster came to Nicolet College in 2009 after serving eight years as the state superintendent of public instruction. She declined to comment at this time about being named a finalist for the position at Edgewood College.
