JWMS gymnasts win triangular at AV-W
The Hodags posted a team score of 112.95 points. Minocqua-Hazelhurst-Lake Tomahawk was second with 92.6. AV-W was third with 86.5.
Stephanie Kuester and Raven Sturtevant each won two events and finished 1-2 in the individual all-around. Kuester's total of 30.4 bested her teammate by 0.05 points.
Kuester, Sturtevant and Kayla Kossack swept the top three spots on vault. Kuester, Sturtevant and Emily Radke went 1-2-3 on the floor exercise. Sturtevant, Kuester and Cassie Choinski took the top three on the uneven bars and Sturtevant, Kuester and Radke went 1-2-3 on the balance beam.
Makayla Kuester finished fourth on uneven bars, Mikayla Evenstad was fifth on balance beam and Choinski was fifth on the floor exercise.
