The third annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Pub Crawl will take place March 15-17 in downtown Rhinelander.

Parade entries will gather at noon on Saturday, March 15. The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m.

"It's open to anybody that wants to get into the parade as an organization or business or just as an individual or family," said parade organizer Jack Winkler, owner of Jack's Super Service. "The parade will go on no matter what. Rain, snow, hot, cold, it will go down no matter what happens weatherwise," Winkler added.

The Pub Crawl will begin Saturday and continue through the weekend until 6 p.m. Monday, March 17.

Each participant will be given a card. The card will be marked every time the participant visits a new tavern over the weekend. When the card is full it can be dropped off at any of the participating taverns. A card will be selected randomly for a cash-payout drawing.

The drawing will take place at 7 p.m. at the Knight Gallery. The winner will get 50 percent of the money brought in from ticket sales. The other 50 percent will go to the Safe Ride Program.

To march in the parade or enter a float, call Winkler at (715) 369-3030.
