Out of the 36 Rhinelander students who attended, 34 took fifth place or better. Those who finished in third place or higher will be moving on to the state competition which will be held in Appleton on April 6-8.
First-place winners include: Alyssa Ellis (Business Financial Plan), Jon Chizever (Accounting I), Ian Bishop (Computer Problem Solving), Schye Skinner & Jessica Swearingen (Desktop Publishing), Connor Funk & Jordan Stuart -(Global Business), Andrew Stafford (Personal Finance), Morgan Blaser (Public Speaking II), and Kim Trochlil (Website Design).
Second-place winners include: Logan Sackett (Business Law), Heidi Gray, Megan Evans, Madison Godawa (Emerging Business Issues), Liz Krug (Accounting I), Adam Woebbeking (Client Services), Vince Berry, Nick Wright, Mitchell Reinthaler (Digital Video Production), Annika Hempel (Economics), Lukas Kreger (Insurance & Risk Management), Mike Anderson (Personal Finance), and Colton Fralick (Computer Problem Solving).
Third-place winners include: Eva O'Melia, Hallie Wright, Kim Bilogan - (Hospitality Management), and Erin Tenderholt (Impromptu Speaking).
