When The Priests released their eponymously- titled album in 2008, they could have had little inkling of what was about to happen to them. As it transpired, plenty did - huge record sales, record-breaking triumphs and global fame.
Now after four years, Frs. Martin O'Hagan, Eugene O'Hagan and David Delargy are among the most recognized and successful acts in both the religious and secular worlds. Their debut album sold at such a pace it secured them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest-selling classical debut ever!
They fascinated the global media and graced the pages of all manner of publications including Time Magazine, sharing sofa space with TV hosts the world over. They have sung to audiences that include the British Royal Family and the Irish president. They were nominated for Classical Brit Awards for Classical Album of the Year for three consecutive years and in September 2010, they shared a stage with Pope Benedict XIV before a crowd of 80,000 people in London's Hyde Park. Millions more watched on television.
