RBA fifth grade teams compete
Pictured right: The Rhinelander Basketball Association's fifth-grade traveling boys' basketball team took first place Dec. 13 at a tournament in Merrill. The Hodags went 2-1 in pool play defeating Merrill (30-15) and Assumption (39-17) before losing to D.C. Everest (37-35). The Hodags won their pool via a tiebreaker and defeated Northland Pines 36-33 in the championship game.

Pictured below right: The RBA fifth-grade girls' traveling team took second place Dec. 13 in a tournament at Ladysmith. Rhinelander started the day with a 25-21 loss to Ladysmith before winning three in a row against Chippewa Falls Flight (40-18), Altoona (31-6) and Chippewa Falls MAXX (33-10).
