Pat McFarland and Rick Zoerb, First Weber agents representing the First Weber Foundation, recently presented a check in the amount of $400 to Ruby's Pantry volunteer coordinator Tracey Barnes and distribution coordinators Theresa Nordquist and Joel Sandberg. The donation will be used toward the ongoing operation of Ruby's Pantry. The uniquely designed food distribution is for everyone, with no income or location limitations. Distributions are held the third Tuesday of each month and are hosted at Grace Foursquare Church, 4360 Hwy. 17 N in Rhinelander. Registration for guests begins at 4 p.m. with distribution beginning at 5 p.m. Distribution continues until all the food is gone. Ruby's Pantry, headquartered in North Branch, Minn., collects surplus food and grocery items from manufacturers around the country, and distributes them through partnering churches and other organizations.
