The Hodags went 3-0 with wins over Flambeau (36-20), Eau Claire (32-18), and D.C. Everest (32-20).

The Rhinelander Basketball Association's seventh- and eighth-grade girls' traveling team took first place Dec. 6 in the Athens eighth-grade tournament.
The Hodags started the day with a 37-25 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood and then defeated Medford 32-25. In their third game of the day, against Athens, the Lady Hodags found themselves trailing by two at halftime. The team rallied during the second half to win 36-22 and secure the top spot.
