Park City Credit Union distributes Thanksgiving meals
"We understand that in reality, not everyone might have a meal for Thanksgiving," said Val Mindak, president and CEO of Park City Credit Union. "We feel humbled to be able to help those people have a Thanksgiving they can truly be thankful for."
Park City Credit Union has been giving away meals for Thanksgiving for the past four years. The credit union works with local grocery stores to give families in need a meal they will remember for the rest of their lives. Park City Credit Union collected nomination slips for the Thanksgiving meals, for an entire month, in each of its branches.
"Giving back to the community is something that we always strive for," said Mindak. "We want each of the local communities to know that we are with them, that we support them, and that we are committed to helping them in any way we can."
Park City Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative providing financial services to approximately 20,000 members who live or work in the counties of Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Iron, Price, Vilas or Taylor, as well as parts of Langlade County.
