Rummage sale at Trig's Riverwalk Centre to benefit Frederick Place
By Kayla Thomason-
Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We're calling it 'mammoth' this time because there's so much more than we even had three months ago when we did it," said Tammy Modic, executive director of NATH.
Bargain hunters will find a lot of fall and winter clothes, Christmas items, two couches, a portable dishwasher, some $400 office chairs donated by Awassa Lodge, kitchenware, tools and more, stretching from one end of the room to the other.
There is a little bit of everything, according to Modic.
Some of the treasures are new or appear to be almost new.
"There are probably six or eight of the ski tow ropes that look absolutely brand new, like they weren't even pulled out of their containers," she said.
Modic is impressed with the items donated for the sale. There is more merchandise than other sales they have held and this one has a "huge, huge man-cave area."
A $2 bag sale will start at noon Saturday.
The NATH Mammoth Rummage Sale is being held in conjunction with WPS and the Awassa Lodge.
All proceeds will go to Frederick Place homeless shelter.
