Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce announces winners of recent photo contests
The "Rhinelander is Picture Perfect" photo contest sought photos in three categories: Events, Fun on the Water and Hiking, Biking and More. Three finalists were selected in each category, and fan voting determined the winner.
The grand-prize winner (the fan photo with the most votes) received a two-night stay at Holiday Acres in Rhinelander and a $250 prepaid credit card. The two runners-up (the photos with the most votes in the other two categories) each received $100 gift cards.
The winners of the "Rhinelander is Picture Perfect" photo contest were:
Grand prize: Jay Labecki, Milwaukee (winning photo: "Mom and son riding the trails near Long Lake" in the Hiking, Biking & More category)
Runner-up #1: Casey Hatch, Rhinelander (winning photo: "Boom Lake Log Jam" in the Events category)
Runner-up #2: Jill Hanson, Janesville (winning photo: "Fishing on Lake Mildred" in the Fun on the Water category)

Boom Lake Log Jam Photo Contest
The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce also selected a winner in the Boom Lake Log Jam Photo Contest, which was held in conjunction with the inaugural Boom Lake Log Jam in June.
The winning photo, showing one of the lumberjack displays during the weekend festival, was taken by Saydee Terzinski of Rhinelander, who will receive a $250 prize.
