Rhinelander Lions Club supports community projects

The Personal Essentials Pantry (PEP) helps low income community members with those essential items needed to keep their homes and families clean and healthy. PEP currently has over 800 registered clients from 29 northern communities. PEP is open on the second Monday of each month from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on the last Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. It is located at the First United Methodist Church in Rhinelander.
(At bottom) Tammy Modic, executive director of NATH, receives a check in the amount of $750 from Lion Mike Romportl representing the Rhinelander Lions Club. Fredrick Place is an emergency temporary homeless shelter located in Rhinelander serving Forest, Oneida, Vilas, Langlade and Lincoln counties.
